Introducing: Derville

Well, the cat's outta the bag! Literally!

Jason and I decided we could use a little something to liven things up around here so we adopted a rescue kitty a few weeks ago. I've never had a cat so this is all new territory to me. However, Jason grew up with tons of animals of all kinds (especially kitties) so this is old hat for him.

It took a few days for everyone to acclimate to the new living arrangements, but with a few adjustments here and there, we are doing great now.

He's the sweetest little guy ever! His name is Derville. Peek-a-boo!

He is a beautiful short-haired white tabby -- and his markings are so unique! Like he's wearing a Mardi Gras mask and a designer cape!

He was so tiny! He's decided that he only wants to eat what Clancy eats, so he's been shredding through the senior adult dog food like crazy and growing by the minute!

We rescued Derville from OFOSA. They said they found him curled up on a truck tire, hiding from the cold and rain. Awww don't worry, you have a home now!

Derville and Clancy became best friends really quick!! They have a lot in common!

They both LOVE naptime!

And looking out the window! Aren't you both so cute sharing the view!

Welcome to the family, Derville!

You're going to fit right in -- after all, you started playing the fart game on the first day!
