A little nature for my nurture

This past weekend, Jason and I went on our first camping trip in Oregon and boy did we need it!

We went with our friends who are native Oregonians (which is awesome because they know all the secret spots)! We also had a native New Yorker with us who had NEVER been camping before, so we had to show her the best that Oregon has to offer. I think we were successful!

We went to Fall Creek which is southeast of Eugene, about 125 miles from Portland.

It was EPIC! Perfect spot, perfect friends, perfect weather -- can't ask for much more.

We slept under ancient trees next to a babbling stream. The temperature peaked at 80 degrees and dropped to the 50s at night. We were SO secluded we didn't see any other people all weekend. No.People.For.Miles.

We took so many amazing pictures that a slide show made more sense than posting all the pics separately.

You can check out the whole album here and here (with captions).
